PREPARE YOUR START
We know this moment at the start line very well: your pulse rises, your heart beats faster, adrenaline runs through your legs… and there is only one thing on your mind: to start running.
Because we understand this moment and the importance of enjoying a smooth and pleasant start, we have implemented a new start system for the 105K, 50K and 21K races, designed to help you enjoy an excellent race experience. The 80K and 10K races will follow the usual mass start format.
In the 105K, 50K and 21K races, elite female and male runners will start from a separate front area, located just under the start arch. There will be two separate starts: one for male runners and one for female runners.
The official time will start when each group is started separately.
This start is reserved for elite runners competing for the podium or prize money, as well as for those who believe they can achieve a result that would place them within the race Top 10.
To assess whether your expected performance fits within this range, please review the time reference tables below.
In the 105K, 50K and 21K races, Age Group runners will start in a funnel format, which means they will begin the race individually. Your time will begin exactly when you cross the start arch.
ELITE START REQUEST
If you believe you can finish close to the overall Top 10 times, please go to the registration team during bib collection and let us know.
Our team will assess each case based on level and time references, and will confirm access to the Elite Start accordingly.
Please check the following table with references from previous editions to help you understand your level and assess whether the Elite Start is suitable for you.
**The times shown in the table are historical references only. They may vary depending on course conditions, weather, the competitive level of each edition and other race-related factors.
