Official language: While the official language of Andorra is Catalan, there is a diverse range of nationalities living in the country. As a result, Spanish, French and Portuguese are all widely spoken.
The country is divided into 7 parishes - and these are Andorra’s local authorities: Canillo, Encamp, Ordino, La Massana, Andorra la Vella, Sant Julià de Lòria and Escaldes-Engordany. These are managed by the town councils.
